HMD Global, pemegang lisensi Nokia kembali memperkenalkan ponsel pintar flagship Nokia 8 yang diberi nama Nokia 8 Sirocco. Ponsel ini diluncurkan tepat pada ajang Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 di Barcelona pada 26 Februari-1 Maret 2018.

Nokia 8 Sirocco merupakan model terbaru dari Nokia 8 yang telah dirilis pada Agustus 2017 lalu. Meski menyandang nama yang sama, tapi versi Sirocco ini punya spesifikasi yang lebih canggih dari pendahulunya, ponsel anyar ini tampil dengan desain memukau melalui bodi tipis yang 95% berlapis kaca.

Mengusung layar OLED sebesar 5,5 inci yang melengkung di tepiannya dan hanya menyisakan kerangka tipis yang terbuat dari stainless-steel.

Bahan kaca yang ada di bodi bertujuan sebagai konduktor untuk pengisian daya tanpa kabel alias wireless charging. Sedangkan bingkai tipis dimaksudkan untuk memindahkan pemindai sidik jari.
